Future Tech Talent Program Manager

Cleotha Elledge has worked in IT/Technology her entire career which spans over 25+ years. Her current role is Future Tech Talent Program Manager, and leads General Motors Technology recruiting. As the program manager, she is responsible for coordinating and reconciling recruiting interdependencies among the IDT organization. She provides strategic guidance to the Information and Digital Technology Dedicated Decision Makers. Cleo works closely with GM Technology Executive leadership globally to improve, and implement new processes.

Keys accomplishments include the successful implementation of the “Career Exploration” site, which enables resources within Technology the ability to express
interests in other roles within Technology creating new opportunities and interest. Cleotha currently holds the position on the Board of Directors for the Women of Tomorrow organization (2023-2025). Cleotha is also a mentor to over 20+ girls with Women of Tomorrow at Central High School in Detroit, Michigan. The in-school mentorship program has connected professional working women to more than 3,600 mentees and awarded more than $2 million in
scholarships in Metro Detroit since its inception.

Cleotha recently held the position of President – General Motors (GM) Women in Technology (2021-2023) which has over 2500+ members and 26 Global Leaders. The platform works to attract, engage, retain, and develop great women to help drive General Motors’ business results and culture to win. Under Cleotha’s leadership, GM Women in Technology drove efficiencies and automation which increased the visibility and size of the organization by 40 percent, which enabled more awareness and leadership support. Cleo has held many roles within the GM Women + Organization including Web Chairperson, Michigan Lead and Vice
President of GM Women in Technology.

Cleotha recently held a position as a Board member of the General Motors Women + Organization (2021-2023). She is now an advisor for the organization. She mentors and coaches’ men and women within GM and outside of GM globally. Cleotha founded and currently operates a coaching organization (Fearless Transformations, LLC.) which provides a holistic approach to mentoring and coaching, along with Motivational Speaking to align with your authentic self.

Prior to GM Cleotha held many roles within Ford Motor Company for over 12 years, first as an Engineering Coordinator then adding a PMP certification and and culminating as Project Manager which also allowed expansion into a Software Developer. This merger of Technology perspectives gave Cleotha the ability to lead major projects in software migrations throughout the company. Key accomplishments include Lotus Notes to SharePoint adaption, which lead to many years in software development, improving business processes within Global Product Development.
