Peter Chau

Peter Chau is a product leader who is obsessed with building valuable customer experiences. He joined MyFitnessPal as Director of Product Management to help create the business strategy and uncover growth opportunities for the fitness app in a post-pandemic world. Since joining, he has led a team to refine and create new product features to better position users for success in their wellness goals — beyond just calorie counting.

A graduate of Emory University (BBA) and Emory’s Goizueta Business School (MBA), Pete has served in various product leadership roles at The Home Depot, The Weather Channel and IBM. He is a certified Agile Coach who has built large-scaled projects for over 300M unique users in the last decade. He’s passionate about inspiring teams to collaborate and produce their best work. This latest venture at MFP has him focusing the team effort on creating a unique and inspiring user experience, while increasing engagement.
